While working on the web design assignment I acquired a few new skills such as learning how to embed code into a website and add a creative commons license to my website. I found the assignment to be very enjoyable and I liked being able to be creative and design my own website how I wanted it to look. Furthermore, I enjoyed researching the information that I was implementing into my website because it made me think and be precise on the information I wanted to be on my website. However, one thing that I did not like is being restricted by the free websites limitations on creativity. Going forward in my future career learning how to create my own website so I can advertise my own business will be very resourceful.

Since I've been using Diigo I've learned how to highlight and annotate websites. I've learned what information needs to be highlighted and what is important. Furthermore, this tool can be very useful when working in groups because you won't need to find important information on your own if someone has already highlighted it. Furthermore, this can be used in a classroom setting to help build collaborative and cooperation skills for students.

As a teacher there is somewhat of an unwritten rule that teachers should provide the best resources to their students. In this day and age with an abundance of technology. As a future educator it is imperative that I research and find resources that will facilitate my growth as an instructor. A great example of this is a site called i learn technology where the focus is introducing different technologies that can be used in education while also providing video tutorials and showing example of how to use each technological tool.
